Randonneur Round the Year
Rules
- A Randonneur Round the Year (RRTY) consists of twelve consecutive months, during which the randonneur must complete at least one 200km brevet in each of the twelve successive months. This must be a brevet homologated by the ACP or LRM.
- The count may begin in any month of the year and must then continue uninterrupted for eleven months.
- Only the regular brevets on the ACP or LRM calendar are eligible for inclusion in an RRTY. For this reason, DIYs, Permanents, Super Randonnees and all other brevets where you determine the start date yourself are excluded. Flèche events are not eligible either. The start date of the brevet determines which month the brevet counts towards.
- A brevet may be ridden in any country, but an RRTY must include at least eight months in which the brevet was organised by Randonneurs NL.
You can only have one ‘active’ RRTY series at a time. A new series begins with the first brevet in the month following the completion of your RRTY, or if you have not completed a brevet for a month.

- Fill in the application form with at least the details listed below and email it to the coordinator of the Dutch RRTY: Hans Westheim

- ACP/LRM homologation number
- for foreign brevets: the web address (URL) where the homologation number is published (for verification) or a copy/photo of the brevet card
- The application must be received before 1 March of the calendar year following the calendar year in which the final brevet in the series was completed in order to be eligible for recognition. After 1 March, no further applications from the previous calendar year will be processed.
- Upon recognition, the randonneur’s name is added to the roll of honour. Furthermore, at the start of each calendar year, a commemorative medal is awarded bearing the year in which the final brevet valid for the series was completed. This medal is free of charge.
